A pool is a general place to take a bath and rest in water. But everything has a secret advantage hidden inside itself. So, there’s something attractive about the pool as well.  Today we are going to witness some flawless exercises that we can perform inside a swimming pool. It seems quite weird and mysterious, but it is beneficial. Especially for those who have joint pains, recovering from an injury or weight obese. In short, let us discuss the benefits of exercises to do in a pool, and how to perform those exercises.

Water Walking

The first enjoyable exercise you can do in a swimming pool is Water Walking. Grasp a dumbbell or anything that is quite heavy, and starting walking in the pool. Complete as many rounds as you can and then take a short break. It is an excellent workout for those who have a knee injury and are looking for quick recovery. Walking in water requires more resistance as compared to land. Consequently, your legs feel less strain and pressure

Water Squats

Here comes another squat exercise, but this time it is inside a water pool. Yes, it might feel weird, but you have to perform it if you want quick recoveries from knee and joint injuries. It is a fabulous aqua workout that requires complete movement of your body weight. 

Doing squats in water will increase your body’s flexibility as well as build strength. So why not try it?

Kickboard Rows

This exercise might feel something new to you. Kickboard Row is an excellent workout for your upper body. To perform it accurately, you must follow these steps:

  • Get a small kickboard of 2 feet long length. 
  • Stand close to the edge of the pool
  • Keep your chest a bit deep. Extend your arms forward.
  • During the whole process, keep the kickboard upright. 
  • Now slowly pull the kickboard toward you.
  • Keep your arms close to your side. 
  • Then squeeze your shoulder blades together, and perform the workout.

Flutter Kicks

Once you learn how to perform kickboard rows, it will be quite easy for you to perform flutter kicks. It is an aqua workout helps to build strength in the glutes and increase the flexibility of hip flexors. To perform flutter kicks, cross your arms on the edge of the pool with your chin on your forearms. After doing so, hit small and fast kicks using your legs, which are inside the water pool. 

Another exercise that is similar to flutter kick is Leg Lifts. Perform all these exercises in the pool and add some extra activities in your daily life.
